On February 15, 2023 - Sean Milan and House of AWT artists brought a Mini Ball to the Freewaves X-a-MEN-ing Masculinities performance event that featured Iconic Kiki Xtravaganza, Gravity Marc Jacobs, Torie Amour Balmain, and Father Casanova Ebony and involved audience participation with "open to all" categories. Movement / Matters with the Ford Theatre
On November 21st, our founder, Sean Milan was highlighted in Movement / Matters, a Ford Theatre Digital Festival exploring Black Street and Club Dance in Los Angeles beginning in the 1970s with Soul Train and ending in 2020 with the intersection of Dance Activism and the Black Lives Matter movement. In a combination of interviews, panels, and prerecorded short dance films, Movement/Matters honored how a generation of LA dancers have connection, care, power, and potential on the dance floor and in the streets. The AWT of Giving Friends Raising Weekend
On October 17th and 18th we presented The AWT Of Giving Friend-Raising Weekend: a virtual program featuring amazing videos, performances, content debuts by House members, and a live interactive Q&A with founder Sean/Milan™. Featured House of AWT members included Teyana Trendz, Evan Kent, Enyce Smith, Mariah Paris Balenciaga, and more. We introduced our organization to the community and raised funding for our second year as a youth arts non-profit organization. Thank you for joining us for a glimpse into The House Of AWT.
